This project included a 108,000 SF renovation and 30,000 SF of new construction to accommodate the growing needs of Baltimore School for the Arts - celebrated city magnet school. The design incorporated an historic brownstone adjacent to the school and reworked an internal courtyard. Programs in dance, music, theater, and visual arts are housed in new and borrowed space in an effort to improve circulation while reinforcing each program's unique identity. The school remained open through three years of phased construction.
