The Barbara Ingram School, an historic former movie house, is a mid-block, three-story structure that has seen a number of occupants over the years. The new building is a major contributor to life in the downtown area with the first floor housing a gallery and entry to the black box theater. The historic stair and other details are preserved to maintain the character of the building. Renovations include a rear and roof-top addition to accommodate the theater, as well as dance, music, painting, sculpture, and ceramics facilities.
