Serenity Place is a renovation of an existing, former parish school converted into a transitional housing residence for people trying to better their lives. All interiors relating to the school function were removed and replaced with 19 residential units of varying sizes. Units were designed to maximize usable space and take advantage of existing high-ceiling conditions to bring light into living and sleeping areas. Renovations of the public spaces included a mezzanine, meditation lounge and support offices. |
