George Holback has managed and designed projects up to $30 million in construction costs over the past 20 years. His ability to combine a high level of technical knowledge with strong design talents has led to his being highly respected both within the firm and by repeat clients. Projects for which he has served as principal in charge have won awards from the American Institute of Architects, Baltimore Magazine, Baltimore Heritage, Maryland and Baltimore County Historic Trusts, and numerous national trade association awards.
Mr. Holback specializes in institutional projects and housing, with a strong focus on historic renovation, adaptive reuse, and sustainable design. He maintains a hands-on style of management in the design and documentation including cost control, code compliance, technical detailing, specifications, and construction document coordination. Mr. Holback combines his artistic talents from his fine arts background in rendering and sculpture with a strong technical expertise in construction issues.
