Diane Cho, a founding partner of Cho Benn Holback + Associates, has specialized experience in the areas of renovation, educational and institutional buildings. Ms. Cho has received numerous design awards from the American Institute of Architects and others, and has served as a visiting critic at Cornell University and North Carolina State. She has participated in various exhibits and served on awards juries for the Maryland Chapter ASLA, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Washington D.C. Chapter AIA, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Virginia AIA, and the Waterfront Center.
In addition to directing multi-disciplinary teams on individual projects, Ms. Cho is responsible for the financial management and quality control of the firm's work. She has special expertise in directing multidisciplinary teams from master planning through site design, architectural design and construction documents on individual projects, with a special emphasis on construction document coordination.
She was chosen one of Maryland's Top 100 Women for 1998, 2000 and 2003.
