Baltimore School for the Arts

A phased renovation and addition to one of the top public arts high schools in the country, this project will update existing spaces and add 35% new square footage. The design aims to improve circulation, create an academic 'heart' for the school and sensitively integrate a newly acquired 1850's Italianate mansion that was adjoining the property. Phase 1a, which includes the addition of 3 new dance studios is complete. Phase 1b, adding music, theater and academic spaces is underway, and the remaining phase 2 is scheduled to be completed by late 2007.
