The Riviera Baltimore, Maryland

The project was a 93,000 SF renovation of an historic, seven-story apartment building on Druid Hill Park Reservoir. The building was built in the early 1900s as a 'country' retreat for Baltimore's elite. This historic renovation returns many of the 55 apartments to their original sizes, and restores their exterior balconies and interior historic character. Public corridors and a marble lobby have been restored to their original grandeur, and two exterior courtyards have been developed as landscaped entrance courts. The project was funded through the use of federal and state historic tax credits.
