Bryn Mawr School Admissions Cottage |
||||
As the first building in Bryn Mawr's "Stewardship 2000" green initiative, this project integrates efficient mechanical systems, natural daylight and ventilation, active/passive solar power, water reclamation and recycled materials. The cottage highlights natural, temporal, and phenomenological cycles connecting students and visitors more closely to their environment. As a "living classroom" for students to learn about sustainable technology, it also houses offices and an inviting reception area created for children of all age groups. |
