This community center mixed Head Start, young adult recreation programs, and a senior center for a low-income residential community. The facility consists of a gymnasium, multi-purpose room, game room, classrooms, library, playing fields and protected outdoor play area. Overhead daylighting of key spaces eliminates the need for numerous ground-level windows and takes into consideration security concerns.
