Allied Signal Site Master Plan, Baltimore, Maryland

 

 

 
A comprehensive master plan for a 1.8 million SF mixed-use program on a 27 acre, formerly industrial site. The site is envisioned as a world-class gateway to the Inner Harbor that also reinforces the special character of neighboring historic Fells Point. Cho Benn Holback's urban design schemes are generated in close cooperation with the client, environmental consultants and the City of Baltimore. They successfully combine high density with the public need for view corridors, vistas and access to the water. An elaborate community involvement program allowed the communities along the waterfront to review and comment on the schemes.
